Has anyone been involved with the Pi network? I have, but in limited fashion mostly due to the fact I forgot I had the app. I've got everything validated/verified through the app (my credentials), and I am wondering when the Mainnet is going to launch? Is this a waste of time or eventually will this translate to money at some point? Mainnet is supposed to launch before the end of this year, but I am uncertain if that is still the case.

Pardon my ignorance, I am kind of new to this "crypto" stuff, but I stumbled across this from a friend a few years ago. I'm simply curious if I may have something of value at some point.

Beats me! I "got in on it early" with a possibility if it. Quite frankly, I assumed I was wasting my time "mining" for Pi, but recently they are talking about this Mainnet stuff. I literally ignorant on this subject which is why i am seeking advice, or assistance from anyone that is involved in it. Per google, I think I can exchange it for other cryptocurrencies but I have no clue.

I have been "mining" PiCoin for years. I figure I can hit a button once a day for the prospect of maybe making a few dollars.

I actually made a reddit post recently about possible price of PiCoin.

Don't expect to get rich, but who knows when it gets out there in the wild(if it ever does). And I am probably in the top end of holders. But stupid me, I locked up for 3 years. But I was migrated last Dec. So 1/3 of the way there.

I also have been running a node for the past 2 years.

This makes sense. I skimmed through your Reddit post. I've got just under 1200 and I didn't expect anything from it but I thought it was interesting to investigate further. And, you're correct, it doesn't hurt a thing to hit a button every day.
