Howdy,
I am a young Aggie Vet class of '23 and ANSC '20. I currently have a PLLC that I will be expanding to include to be used as a pass through entity for relief work payment. Prior to this the PLLC grossed less than 10k a year and my full time job at a small animal clinic was my primary source of income.
I am now transitioning to relief full time and plan to do everything through this entity to allow for more deductions/write offs IE travel expenses, uniforms, etc. looking for an Aggie CPA to help me better understand quarterly taxes, how to maximize write offs, and just in general keep me out of trouble with the IRS.
Thanks in advance and Gigem,
Dr. T Cruz

Class of 2023 and already transitioning to relief work full time???

And as a heads up, a single-member LLC is going to be a disregarded entity for tax purposes. And you'll have to not only pay estimated quarterly income taxes, you'll pay both sides of the payroll taxes as well.

I'm sure someone will be along with a CPA recommendation.

Appreciate the insight. And yep not happy with the client facing side of the business and unreasonable expectations, read "fix my dog with no diagnostics and make it cheap/quick." I ideally wanted to go into industry or regulatory work but haven't found anything yet so doing relief until then.

Talk to Lisa Migura. We've used her for years and she's awesome. Also an Aggie
