I believe this has been asked before but I couldn't find it in the search function. My brother in law is graduating in December and I wanted to get him a book to set him up for saving and investment success as he starts his career.

Any suggestions for a book that goes over saving, investing, paying down debt, and overall financial discipline?

Get him to start listening to the ChooseFi podcast.

Better than any book and more likely to have influence.

Millionaire mission - they have a podcast called the money guy show. Pretty simple stuff but a good couple steps up from the Ramsey advice

+1 for both choosefi and money guys. Might also consider Simple Path to Wealth by JL Collins. Good overview showing the impact of investing early

The Millionaire Next Door is a classic in the genre. I think there's just timeless advice in spending less than you make, invest constantly, and keep your lifestyle modest.

I think I Will Teach You To Be Rich by Ramit Sethi is a great introductory book for someone just starting out. Talks about streamlining/automating finances, credit cards, savings, investing, and making large (car, home, etc) purchases. I'd suggest that as an introductory book before diving into any one area.

It was the first book I read about finances 10+ years ago, and I still read it every few years.

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace university is a great gift and, IMO, one of the best foundations for a married couple to go through together. It meets all the criteria you mentioned.

Cant go wrong with The Bogleheads Guide to Investing or Millionaire Teacher. Both talk about investing via low cost index funds and keeping it simple. For someone right out of college, this is the perfect advice for them.

Rich Dad Poor Dad.

ChooseFI would be incredibly helpful for them as well.

I second this. It really boils down to living below your means and letting time/compounding do its thing

The Richest Man in Babylon is always a classic, it is the book all other finance books are based off of.

I was gifted The Automatic Millionaire when I graduated and it definitely helped set me up for financial success from the start. Highly recommend that as well as Bogelheads Guide to Investing, Millionaire Nextdoor, Random Walk down Wall Street to name a few others.
