I've got a friend who founded a company called Good Agriculture

They offer back end office services (bookkeeping, finances, paperwork) for farmers. Does anyone know anyone at the A&M ag dept I could introduce her to? Figure there's someone at A&M that would be good to connect her with.

Dr. Rister would probably be your best bet if it is a start up company needing help/networking. He's the Director of the rural entrepreneurship program in the Ag Econ department. Is your friend an Ag as well? He's always looking for Ags who have started businesses to come speak in his classes or help mentor students on their projects.

Thanks for the info. No my friend isn't an Aggie, the org is based in Atlanta, and they're post start-up, I think they've raised money and are well funded. Just felt that there might be someone she should connect with at A&M ag dept because their mission seems to align from a networking standpoint.

I can second Dr. Rister as a great contact. He will either help you or point you in the right direction. I was one of his entrepreneurship students and had to lug around the "big binder".
