Anyone have experience with having your 401k managed? I have the option for my 401k to be managed by Morningstar and can have some customization based on my risk portfolio and other certain preferences in retirement. They can make changes to my investments based on the current market, and they are able to do this for a small monthly fee.

Is this worth it?

Unfortunately I don't have that option. Morningstar is the only choice to have my portfolio managed

What other choices do you have besides the Morningstar option?

Does the Morningstar option state which funds they will be using in their model or are they free to roam the entire find universe?

Not worth it. They will just have you fill out a survey to assess your risk tolerance and then pick a cookie cutter allocation and rebalance it for you a few times a year.

That depends……

My managed stuff with Schwab is that way, but the Edward Jones is above and beyond that. It depends on how much you have with them and the level of mgt you're willing to pay for.
