I had read somewhere that due to some last-minute IRS changes, some 1099s may be delayed.
I've received a 1099-DIV from Transamerica for my mutual fund account every year since I opened it in the late 90s....even when there were no reportable dividends to declare.
This year...nothing.
I was going to wait until mid-Feb to call them just in case they were caught up in the delays but I was wondering if anyone else was waiting for one.
We pay as little tax as possible out of paychecks and track everything in a spreadsheet to pay quarterly estimated taxes. Right now, TT says I need to write a $48 check which is the closest I've ever been to $0. Trying to keep it that way.
