You know what else always goes up? Dividends of the most profitable businesses in the world. About twice as much as the cost of living. Tie the majority of your wealth and income to that and watch your retirement and estate/legacy goals thrive. You can participate in this for free.

Or you could certainly buy 10 rental properties. Then worry about 10 quality tenants, rental contracts, property taxes, repairs, maintenance, interest rates, and liquidity concerns. And a MASSIVE headache for your heirs to boot.

It's for suckers and paranoid people at this point.

Bitcoin ate its lunch and continues to hammer it into sand.

Gold is eternal.

Bitcoin will one day just be a footnote in a history book..

You can't replicate Golds unique properties. You can however replicate every single cryptocurrency, which makes none of them truly unique.

Having cash flow producing properties that also have the (likely) chance of increasing in value at the same time is always a great portfolio addition. You have a lot of control here as well.. you get out what you put in..

As far as headaches go, of course you should always pare down your business dealings as you advance in age. I'm not planning on just dying randomly without having had my estate refined down to a simpler inheritance.

I'm not anti-gold nor am I a big Bitcoin guy, but I sincerely doubt that your statement will prove correct. I own 0 cryptocurrency just fyi.

I do agree with your statement on real estate though.
