Underperforming inflation is not safe.

Gold has held its value over a far longer time period than anyone alive today. And it's done so despite supply constantly increasing.

If you're looking for safe, nothing in the world has a track record that even compares. Bitcoin is the only current vehicle that has potential to compete.

Lastly, there's a lot of people here who seem to think markets are immune from long term corrections. They are not. You live in a 100 year time period where everything you know exists purely because of the devaluation of the dollar. Just three years ago we had people arguing inflation had been defeated by the mighty federal reserve. Those same people now think the Fed is doing a good job. They are not. They are merely attempting to stair step down what could have potentially been an elevator.

Long story short, you have not yet seen the true correction that inevitably comes with the destruction of the world reserve currency. Kick the can all you want. But you will eventually get a prolonged and painful bear market where you will forget what it's like to experience an all time high. At that point in time, when you are staring at your account balance, make sure you check the price of gold and Bitcoin.

Can you sell stocks without paying capital gains tax? I can do that with my metal when I sell privately.

Really interesting how people view clown world debt obligations as safe.

Bitcoin is a bearer instrument with no counterpart risk that can never be debased.

Lmao.
You don’t trade for money, you trade for freedom.
