I'm fed up with mine.. any recs for a good Aggie CPA?

I live in CO and file personal return there, but also file for a Texas LLC - doesn't matter to me where they're located.

I'm a CPA and have hired out my taxes for several years to Natalie Kubik. She recently moved from TX to CO. Njkcpa.com

Very happy with her performance for our two small business and personal returns.

Actually no, our estimated payment back in April was spot on. Just poor communication and impossible to get ahold of. Don't like things coming down to the wire.

I emailed her yesterday after your suggestion. She said she is not taking any new clients at this time.

Got you. Not being available/hard to get in touch with is not good business.

More and more often things wind up coming down to the wire. When I first got in the business, we did returns by hand, no computer programs or remote processing. They were typed with a typewriter, lol. We did a lot more returns then though. You could get started in mid-January for one thing, with all the pass-through entities now (and almost all of them on a calendar year basis), it is often mid to late February to mid-March for many returns as far as having all the information. World is much more complex but the deadline is still April 15th!

Good luck in finding what you are looking for.

cohibasymas, out of curiosity, why does a CPA outsource their own taxes?

No reason for asking; just curious.

Plenty of CPAs that didn't do anything tax track related beyond required classes and enough to pass the exam as they were audit (raises hand) or other focus areas. I know enough to be dangerous when it comes to complex tax issues.
