Be careful. If you go on coinbase wallet, there are fake coins out there that will gobble up your money. Normal ones like Coinbase are good - even Robinhood has several cryptos to buy.
Buy some Bitcoin (BTC). fo shoooo.

I wouldn't recommend XRP. I would look into Chainlink. Hard to imagine they won't be heavily involved in any tokenization of stocks, bonds or RWA

So my deal with XRP is that I have this buddy that has his best bro that is big time in this crypto trading thing. Builds those mining centers with the servers in the dielectric fluid using Elon batteries.... Huge warehouses

Anyways, something about some lawsuit from XRP teaming up with "Ripple"????? and that is holding their value back. Well I guess that lawsuit is about to dissolve because XRP is dissolving that relationship. Does this information change your mind about XRP?

I think the new sovereign wealth fund may be the backup plan to stash BTC, if they can't push thru a strategic reserve bill.

I was surprised Bessent didnt mention BTC in oval office when the fund was discussed. He said he will monetize the assets on balance sheet with liquid assets.

I purchased Chainlink, XRP, and BTC yesterday around their daily lows. Are these long term investments? Just buy more as that money is available and wait? Do these have any type of dividend or APY? I see that somehow I ended up with $500 worth of USDC with a 4.1% APY. I think this was some sort of gift from coinbase

I don't think for those. Coinbase should list which ones get staking rewards

I get like 7.5% APY on SOL but you can get like 12% if you stake offsite

BTC is the gold standard of Crypto, this is def a long term investment, the others are centrally controlled and can be replicated into oblivion.

IMO, BTC is the only real investment here, the are others are gambling

that would be my approach, no doubt you can make short term gains better in alt coins, but the proof in the pudding, BTC is the best performing asset over the last 15 years
