quite a few sales reps before me (mid 90's) sued brockman after they left the company for apparently not paying commissions on controllers that were made in the caymans... it was settled for obvious reasons

I always enjoyed hearing UCS horror stories during my time in CS. I applied for a job there and was thankful I didn't get it.

I applied at UCS while in school and didn't get hired. I was shocked. My brother had a friend in management there and told me I was flagged as a theft risk. Lol I've never stolen anything in my life. Not even as a kid.

Worked at Rentsys. We didn't have it nearly as bad as the rest of the company but the pay and policies still sucked. That on top of idiot management.

the sales rep trainees use to jog with him every M,W,F at the Houstonian... so many good stories that have never been told because everyone is afraid of being sued...

I remember hearing about the bigwigs hanging out at the Houstonian. I find it hilarious/sickening that he used to scare his employees into going to the Christmas party every year while doing stuff like this.

I moved to CS in 2002 with no job after graduating under grad so my wife could attend grad school. I got a job at UCS in tech support. I bailed after three weeks. That place was basically real life Office Space but worse.

Worked in shipping dept from 2001 to 2004. The Director at the time, a really nice guy, is battling liver and lung cancer right now.

It was, and the sports leagues. Worked at the Houston office for a year or so in 2003-2004. At times felt like a swingers club with so many young employees
