I am getting old. Do you guys have one that works well for you? I've found some expensive gamer chairs that look great. I am on the verge of pulling the trigger on one, but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions.

May not be practical for your office, but sitting on a balance ball cured my back ailments from 15+ years of sitting all day. I'm exploring an adjustable standing desk next.

Sorry, I know it's not the question you asked, but I went through a lot of chairs and it's the only thing that helped my back/hip pain.

I switched to a standing work station a couple years ago and it was life changing with regard to back pain

Go sit in one of those gamer chairs. I ordered one that looked great and it was built for a much slimmer person than I.

Returning it was impossible. So I ended up finding a friend of a friend that bought it for a solid discount just so I could get rid of it.

The Aeron is no doubt comfortable. But recently I sat in the Geiger Taperchair (you can get the same Taper chair through Herman Miller also) and it is much better. It is essentially the most ergonomic chair designed to date. These chairs are not cheap, but if you sit at a desk daily it is well worth it!
