Secondly, I am sorta new to this whole investing and trading stuff, I was wondering if any of you successful businessmen could give me some tips.... I like to invest in penny stocks on Robinhood..

First tip. Don't invest in penny stocks.

Don't invest what you can't afford to lose.

^ agree. $100 of a penny stock is worth the same as $100 of AMZN or XOM. Don't be suckered in to penny stocks.

Any good advice on stocks i should invest in for 2018? I tend to lean towards biomedical and technology industries but always open to other sectors

my entire retirement fund is invested. I certainly can not afford to lose it.

I meant in reference to using Robinhood for an admitted newbie to the investment world. Especially when he says penny stocks in his OP.

It's not a bunch. It's not my retirement acct, i have an advisor manage that for me... i just got like 60 bucks in it. Just being aggressive with it.

Penny stocks are a quick way to lose your money. Been there, done that.

I've made a ton of money in the stock market. My secret? Buy good quality stocks and hold them till their metrics suggest otherwise.

What is considered quality though? Stocks above $10? I dont have a bunch to invest(like i said i got $60 for play money). How do you know when to buy and when to sell? I would assume you want to buy stocks that have slowly risen the last 1-5yrs, but also have slumped in the last 3 months.... right? Ive never been one that understands all the analytics of it all... any help or easy resources on how to figure it out is much appreciated

If you are only working with $60 I would recommend building up your base before you start investing. You won't be able to buy very many quality stocks with only $60 and even with a 25% move you would only make $15. Build a base.
