You should call and ask for a lower rate.. I pay half that for more coverage on my wife's ring and my music gear. Obviously different items have premiums, as seen below.
The jewelry coverage you have listed is different than what KW02 is talking about. The typical rate for most companies in regard to "scheduled" jewelry is around $1.50 to $2.00 for every $100 of coverage. "Blanket" coverage is around $1.00 to $1.20 per $100. The difference is that "blanket" lumps all jewelry together as one limit with a max per item at $1,000 to $2,500 depending on the carrier; sometime more or less. "Scheduled" means you are insuring a particular item such as a wedding ring, Aggie ring...etc. Scheduling the item also will add mysterious disappearance while the blanket coverage will not. If you purchased the listed additional coverage for your wife's ring only, I would call first thing Monday morning to make sure that they have it covered correctly.

also, I have a buddy that worked for farmer insurance, he was trying to get me to get auto insurance through him, I said I have USAA, he pretty much said, oh never mind. He couldn't match them. So I don't know where yall are getting off thinking they charge higher rates for auto ins.
Not to disparage your Farmers friend but if he did not attempt to quote it, he has no idea. Price wise, USAA has been very good historically but that is not a universal truth. I would say that at least 30% of the time when I compete against a current client of USAA, I pretty handily beat there premium with same or better coverage, 25% it's about the same and the remaining 45% they beat the pants off of me. If homeowners is in the mix, It's pretty much always a win for me.

Wife and I pay about $750 for 6 months for two cars, pretty decent coverage with $500 deductibles. Couldn't imagine full coverage car insurance being much lower than $60/mo.
~$60 per vehicle is a good premium but I have clients paying much less. This is for $500/$500/$100, matching UM, $10,000 PIP, $500 deductibles, towing and rental reimb. Granted it needs to be a perfect storm of location, credit score, and discounts to get there but I have quite a few at that level.
