My daughter, Class of 2011 will be in Australia this summer for two months. She will be a criminal justice visiting professor at a university in Brisbane. She will be in Sydney June 14 to 17 and she is looking for ideas on where to stay or what to see. She wouldn't be opposed to someone showing her around. The Rocks area is gorgeous. Some great markets there on a Sunday also. Blue Mountains area another area to spend a weekend, especially if Hubby coming to Sydney. I would stay close to Circular Quay or Darling Harbour.
Manly and Bondi beaches both need visiting as does Taronga Zoo.

I live in Brisbane, happy to give tips as well for Brissie.
