Are there any other Aggies living in the Mountain Home, Mountain View, Bull Shoals/Norfork Lake Area?

This board doesnt get much traffic. Might try the outdoor board. I live in central AR but travel north periodically.

Bumping for my new status as an Around the Nation board member. Just moved to Central Arkansas from Houston. May have to change my handle.

Love it here so far. Wife's family is from here, so we visited often. Always had the thought about making the move but never pulled the trigger until this year. So glad we did. Good to get away from Houston's traffic, crime, heat, hurricanes (almost made it out before the last one), politics, general crowdedness, etc.

Once we get settled in, we are going to hit as many state parks and lakes as we can. It will be nice to be able to travel the state in about the same time it takes to go from one side of Houston to the other in traffic.

We have some land in Mammoth Spring & hope to build there within the next couple of years. It sure is beautiful up there & like a step back in time.
