I work along the central coast in California. Any Aggies around here?? Would love to find a group to watch games on the weekends.

I live 1/2 way between Santa Barbara & SLO, but have young kids and unfortunately don't get a chance to watch many games anymore. No real organized Aggie clubs in the area that I'm aware of.

Old thread, but I'm out in this area now.

I am jealous of where you live. While it's a long way to a commercial airport, why would you ever leave?

Guessing you work at Vandenberg

I did indeed, lived on base. I've been going back and forth from there since 08. It's nice but too cold to be on the coast for my likes, especially the water. I'm in COS now. It's not too bad for a couple years. Honestly if I was there longer I'd be more interested in figuring out how to live more in the Bulleton/Solvang area. They don't get near as much fog and is typically at least 10 degrees warmer.

Not sure if we talked about this in the past but I also worked on Vandy (as a civilian), the Buellton/Solvang area would be absolute goals. I miss working out there so much.

Small world, I live in COS as well, over in Broadmoor Bluffs.

I have a lot of family in San Jose, Bay Area and SLO/Nipomo and I would love to move there before my kid starts high school. The college guarantee if they get the grades in HS is just so appealing and I would love a warmer environment. COS is great, but I am getting old and tired of shoveling snow.

I'm out in Falcon, but feel you on the shoveling. Certainly not as bad as Omaha or Minot though.

I am at the top of broadmoor bluffs. We are already right at 50 inches for the season and my driveway is REALLY long and steep. I think this will easily be a 100 inch season. Does Omaha get that much?

At our old house, also in broadmoor bluffs, we got half what we get here, even though it was less than a mile away.

Me and my son shoveled once today and it took an hour. We are thinking of skiing tomorrow which means I will have to shovel in the dark once it stops snowing. Supposed to stop in a hour or so.

2 of the three winters were probably pretty similar and the third was approaching Minot levels. At least it melts relatively quickly here. It would linger a lot longer there.
