In all seriousness though, I don't have any suggestions but it's a fairly ****ty area. There are some burbs that are nice.

OMG, listen to BeltonAg.

Joke or not, his map is amazingly accurate. Check out Beale Street during the day for lunch, then get east to Germantown/ Poplar Ave. before sundown. Buy an Elvis postcard and leave town. That city has problems.
