We are in the middle of our Paris and Switzerland trip - it's been in the works for a few years. 3 days in Paris, 3 days in Geneva and Chamonix, then heading to Zermatt and Interlaken for another week. Heading back thru Basel and Paris. It has been spectacular so far. Later in November , we will be going up to CO for our son's engagement. It's a good travel year for us - we are spending more on experiences and less on stuff these days.

Booked my own travel to Explora Torres del Paine & Awasi Mendoza for April of next year for our 10th Anniversary! So excited.

Went to San Diego with my wife last week. Took a lot of advice and recommendations from this board. Thank you.

- Restaurant recs were great: Georges on the Cove, Jakes in Del Mar, C Level, Lobster West for lobster rolls
- Drove the coastal 101 and visited Torrey Pines Golf course, Del Mar, Carlsbad, Encinitas, and Oceanside beach towns. Beautiful drive.
- Went to Mount Soledad (military memorial) that gives you great 360 degree views of all of San Diego
- Saw a cool thing at the Hotel Del Coronado: Navy Seal applicants were doing buds training right on the beach by the hotel. Looked extremely tough.

Quiet November here:
Headed to NYC today for the marathon.
South Padre for work, Sarasota for work.


October was also quiet:

Made it out to Chiricahua National Monument the day before it became a National Park, so that was fun.
