Wife wants to go to a few Christmas towns in the states. Been to the Europe markets. Anyone have some recommendations?

I like Branson at Christmas. I think the most "Christmassy" part of it is Silver Dollar City (theme park). They go over the top with Christmas lights.

Quite a few in Georgia

one day i will road trip between on the small towns in that area that do it right

I'd say Woodstock in VT if I was going New England.

Middleburg VA is another really charming town.

Leavenworth is the top option though.

I live NYC at Xmas time.

Oh we did Grapevine a few years ago post Christmas, and we based it around Christmas things/activities. The Botanical Gardens at night was awesome. We did a split stay - at the Gaylord and then The Renaissance in Downtown FW. Went to a bar/restauarant that was all decked out for Christmas. I think we did the aquarium too. Can't remember what else, but we did enjoy it.

Came to post this. Apparently they keep all the stuff up after Christmas and it is way less crowded. Hopefully going this year.
