I've been to Tucson a few times but wondering if there are any incredible restaurants I've missed or fun places/attractions/hikes I've missed.

San Xavier mission just south of town is amazing. If you've never visited the towns south towards the border, they're interesting as well, places like Tubac and over towards Tombstone.

And I think the Pima Museum offers bus tours through the Boneyard at Davis-Monthan AFB

They are no longer offered.

Second this ... even my wife loved it. The 390th Memorial Museum, out back at Pima, is an awesome tribute to the crews that flew B-17s in World War II.

We also enjoyed Sabino Canyon. Took the tram tour because I was lazy.

We had a very nice meal at Cielos, outside on the patio.

The Titan Missile Museum south of Tucson is a fantastic experience. The only remaining Titan Missile silo, with an inert/inactive missile still in place.

Not handicap accessible, if that's a factor for you, since it's still an intact silo with below ground operations center that you climb down multiple stairs to, just like they did when it was active.

El Charro is classic Tucson and pretty good. Charro Steak downtown is really good. La Indita is a great hole in the wall type spot that is a Native American/Mexican fusion….very unique and very good.

For food, the Flying V at Loews is decent. Their tableside-made guacamole was fantastic.

We really do need to visit the Pima air museum. Have never been there. I bet the leaves have already changed their colors on mt Lemmon.

PASM is actually a conglomerate of three museums. Besides the Air & Space, there is also a military vehicle museum located just behind the PASM, and there is also the Titan Missile Museum located a short drive away in Green Valley. All are definitely worth seeing, IMO.

If you decide you want to see the Titan Missile Museum and happen to go during the Christmas school break, you will want to make reservations. They can only accommodate a certain number of people per tour, and they can get pretty busy at this particular time.

All three museums are very easy to get to, and have plenty of parking. If you go during the Summer, get there when they open.

When I'm in Tucson I always eat a chicken fried steak at TTT diner.
Just an old school truck stop with a lot of nostalgia.

Evidently, the Tucson Truck Terminal is known for having a really great breakfast. We haven't tried it ourselves since we don't go out for breakfast all that often, but we both love a good CFS dinner. I will now add it to our list....

Lol, I never realized that was it's name!
Pretty good CFS which is all I ever got.
I went mostly for the ambiance though and to watch the old school waitresses

OK - I gotta come back here and report: we went to TTT for lunch today, and we both decided on the chicken-fried steak since you mentioned it. It was the best c-fs I've eaten in years, and definitely the best we have found in Arizona since we moved here six years ago. The venue kinda sucks to be honest, but the people were extremely nice, and the food was excellent. Can't wait to go back.....

Have you been to TexAZ in Phoenix? People keep telling me to try it but I haven't yet. Been told CFS is good.

We have not been there. The only parts of the Phoenix metro area that we know just a tiny bit are Scottsdale Road and the area around the State Fair Grounds, where they have the huge gun show in the middle of Summer (120 degrees in the parking lot - yayyy!!!). TBH, I kinda view Phoenix as the place we must endure when on the way to somewhere else.

We do want to see the Botanical Gardens next Spring, so I will put TexAZ on the list....
