We have been unable to find any bear spray online for pickup when we arrive. We are flying so traveling with it is prohibited, if I am not mistaken. Any suggestions of where and/or how to get some once we arrive? We are flying into Bozeman & back out of Idaho Falls.

Also get some cookies from The Cookie Place in Idaho Falls. Their Smores cookie is the best thing on the planet.

You can rent through BearAware. You can pickup at the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and then drop off down in the Teton or Yellowstone area.

Thanks! I had ran the question though AI and that is the suggestion I got; however, I really like to check with someone who has actually had the experience. This is a bucket list trip and I am feeling like a kid on Christmas Eve right now!

One suggestion if you're going to pickup at the Belgrade location is to reserve online ahead of time. Otherwise, you're filling out all your information (including payment information) on their tablet. Drop off is easy, but pickup from that location isn't as seamless without reserving and paying ahead of time.

You could walk into any Walmart/academy/Dicks in that area and get some right off the shelf. And as noted the visitor centers/general stores in the parks sell it.
