Any suggesstions or points on this. I have never done this before but I have a United Explorer card and also another Chase card where i can transfer alot of points to united app.

What exactly are you asking? How to transfer them? Or how to use them once they're in your account?

if they are chase rewards points, run the flights through chase rewards and through the united website to see which is the better deal.


If it is better on the united site you link your united account then transfer. Transfer happens in a few seconds.

Never thought about running it through the chase rewards first. I will check that out. Was wondering why it would only show economy or first class using united app and points.

Almost like I could not choose my seats. Was wondering if booking with points you get seats assigned later instead of your choice.

You are able to select your seats when booking on points.

This sounds like a domestic flight where there are only two classes. If you don't have status then you'll have to pay for an Economy Plus seat the same way you would when booking with cash.

I would expect you'll see some kind of points savings since you're a card holder.
