Any help on weekly rentals?

We will be there a week a month the next 6 months and compared to Quintana Roo the rentals are much pricer from what we can find.

Save the Acapulco isn't safe comments please.

Wrong coast. Pacific doesn't have sargassum. Part of why we're doing this.

We went a number of times in 2004 while at the A&M language school in Cuernavaca. The hotels in the bay were declining already and the water was full of trash. People in the know stayed on the south side of the bay. Back then, anyway.

Fishing was awesome. We chartered boats for $400 and caught tons of sailfish.

No. It's still dangerous if you travel like a stereotypical American. We dont travel on US passports and dont speak English when we leave Riviera Maya. We feel more unsafe in downtown Denver and Chicago than anywhere we've lived or traveled in Mxico.
