Been a couple times now, but this time around have two flights followed up a couple full pours. And a couple bottles to go.

Go to McLoon's Lobster Shack in South Thomaston if a lobster roll is a must for you. South Thomaston is about an hour and a half northeast of Portland, on the way to Bar Harbor. It's out on an island and the views are amazing. Lobster boats at work all over the place.

Tons of great lobster rolls in Maine. Red's in Wiscasset is great, Sprague's is right across the street from that and is great too. Clam Shack in Kennebunkport is excellent. But McLoons is in a league of it's own for lobster rolls.

Bite into Maine is a great lobster roll in Fort Williams Park (Portland head lighthouse is in the park) just outside of Portland, or at the Allagash brewery in the city.

Yes, been to MDI and Acadia NP. Awesome trip. Go to Bar Harbor for 2 days. We got on a bi-plane at sunset. Hour trip and it was memorable. Loved Maine. We were there in October and it got chilly at night.

ANP was a day trip for us but we moved around the east coach too much for my liking. We went thru ANP very quickly.
