Going to be making our way to Paris in April. Any recommendations on what to do at DLP? Any dining to avoid or any that you felt were really good and worth it?

Are you staying in Paris or do you have reservations at DLP. I took my family there in the summer of 24. If you are looking for a travel advisor that specializes in Disney my contact info is in my bio.

The thunder mountain railroad ride there really is better and worth the hype. The going underground part towards the end is a OH SNAP moment.

We were there on Thanksgiving day last year. It was a ton of fun and not nearly as crowded as the parks here in the states.
Not sure if that will be true in the summer or not. The theming is not as strong as in the parks here, but that was also fine.

We were able to do all of the big rides in both parks (several of them multiple times) in a single day. Hyperspace mountain (space mountain Star Wars style) was great and actually has a couple of inversions. There is an avengers ride that is the same track as rockin coaster in Orlando, but the track seemed a little smoother and was a more fun ride. Big thunder was great as mentioned above. Crush's coaster is probably the most popular ride there and I don't think it's at any of the other parks yet. It's a neat ride that is a mild-moderate "thrill ride".

We stayed at one of the park hotels the night before our park day and then the night of our park visit. We took a car from our hotel in Paris because we didn't want to mess with our luggage on the train, but if your kids are old enough to deal with their own luggage on public transportation, they may be the way to go. Traffic was brutal and it took nearly 2 hours for us to get from central Paris to the hotel. We did the stay at the end of our trip, so left from Disney and headed to CDG the morning after our park day.

TLDR/ it's a lot of fun and not as crowded as the parks here.

My wife is a HUGE Disney fan. We were supposed to spend our honeymoon at DisneyWorld but Covid. But we have been to Orlando twice since. So for our 5 year, we decided to give Paris a try. We are going without the kids, just us. We will spend one night in Paris before making our way to DLP. We will spend 4 days, 3 nights, staying at the Sequoia Lodge (I know it might be too many days but we can hit everything we want and be more chill instead of "go go go" like we do with the kids).

The wife would like to do at least one character dining so we have that already planned, but we do plan on having a nice meal at the Disneyland hotel (still need to make a reservation for this). Other than that, we are pretty open to meals.

As far as rides, Crush is at the top of the list. Hyperspace Mountain, Avengers, Big Thunder are also on our "must do" so glad to hear those are worth it. Disney World doesn't have much Avengers stuff other than the Guardians ride (which is the best ride in all of Disney imo) so I am excited to try that.

Make the dinner reservation at the Disneyland hotel way in advance. We stayed there and weren't able to get a dinner reservation for our group. With just two it may be easier.

If you haven't done Paris before, I really would cut down one of the park days and add a day in Paris. We rode almost every ride twice in one day at the park. We did pay for the "fast pass" or whatever they call it, which was totally worth it. The longest line we waited in was second time on crush at the end of the day, and that was like 45 minutes. I really think that three days will start to get repetitive, but maybe not!
