You are going to have to post some pics when you get back! Glacier is the next big NP trip on our bucket list!

Have fun!
Had a death in the family. We made it to Waterton Lakes National Park, but had to beeline it back home on Day 2 of our trip. It was a pretty drive though.

Went to San Antonio for a dove hunt last weekend. Stayed at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch. Had a wonderful weekend. The 2 bedroom at the hyatt was really nice and not terribly expensive. Huge room and a good layout. The pool and lazy river kept my kids happy. Lots of old fat white people, also some younger married couples getting drunkkk on the lazy river. Food was typical resort fare, expensive and mediocre.
Where did you hunt?

Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch is a really nice place. Rib and I stayed one night there back in June. We were those people on the lazy river.

We would definitely go back for a date weekend. Loved it.

As I mentioned, we had a nice day in Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, then found out my mother in law had passed away in the middle of the night back home. So I immediately booked a flight out of Bozeman (I had my reasons) and we hit the road to Bozeman to fly home. We did have a little bit of wiggle room time-wise though, and as we drove by the Glacier entrance, we made a quick detour to Wild Goose Island Lookout as our only stop in the park.

I'm disappointed that we didn't get to do our full itinerary, but I'm glad we made that stop. My wife did find some comfort in the view there.

After that, we turned around to continue the drive to Bozeman and caught this near the park entrance.

Mobile, so can't structure a post well.

But,

- Hood for Labor Day
- OR wine tour last, last weekend with tons of smoke
- Up to Snoqualmie Pass and Alpental Valley in WA to hike and MTB this past weekend

Home this weekend, then Bend for Aspens next. Lots of travel in the van for October planned.

Nothing exotic. Going from Katy to Mineola next week to visit family we have there, then heading to Arlington to watch the Ags cook some bacon, before visiting with our son and his family (grandson's first birthday) and then coming home.

Cruise from Reykjavik to Oslo, with Greenland in the middle. A lot of fjords. Then a few days in Oslo, and flew to Zadar, Croatia. Here until Wednesday. Still the most amazing sunsets I've seen.
