Heading to Seattle in mid-January with my wife. All recommendations are appreciated.

Can you postpone? Seriously, the worst month unless you like dark, rain or snow if you're willing to drive.

I'm in PDX, and joke, but in SEA for work once a month. What's your jam? Foodie, city, snow, islands, oysters, riots, Natty parks?

We are definitely foodies and love oysters. We are going to Olympic one day for sure.

Everything in Seattle proper will suck that time of year due to the weather.

Head over to Leavenworth for some mountains/snow.

Oysters + Olympics = https://hamahamaoysters.com/pages/oyster-saloon

This is our favorite Oyster restaurant in SEA: https://thewalrusbar.com/

Hurricane will be spinning by January if you're into skiing the Olympics. Else, Crystal on Rainier, Snoqualmie / Alpental. So great snow hikes in Baker Nat or Rainier. Snow Lake from Alpental is amazing.
