Heading that way the end of June. Curious what the weather is normally like? The temp avg's posted online dont mean much to me because I don't know how the humidity and elevation plays a factor. Will we be able to wear shorts/ss shirts or long pants and light jackets the norm?

Should be perfect shorts and t shirt weather during the day. Maybe long pants and long sleeve depending on comfort preferences. Nights will be chilly to quite cold. Definitely jacket weather at night.

Just Panda lives closer than me, but based on the winter we are having, there could still be snow up top. But like the above said, "should" be typical summertime weather but I imagine this year will be a hair cooler in the early part.

Will rain every day. Bring Chacos and rain jacket.

End of june is amazing weather... usually. The resort is staying open until the end of May so they are expecting snow to stick around. The rains usually don't start until mid July.

Gotta remember everything can change rapidly in the mountains. I saw 22 inches on snow once on my birthday at the end of june. Bring a jacket everywhere you go

I find the lack of humidity regresses the extremes. At the end of June during the day the dryness should make it feel a bit cooler, and at night likely make it feel a bit warmer compared to those same temps in Texas (assuming that's where you're coming from). Elevation leads to more sun intensity, meaning a greater difference between how it feels in direct sunlight vs how it feels in shade. If you're not acclimated you'd get hot faster during physical activity at elevation as well as your heart rate should be higher.

End of June will probs still be pretty muddy this year. I'd bring hiking shoes and tennis shoes. I'd also bring a rain coat and a mix of lightweight to heavier jackets and sweaters. The direct sunlight will still cook you. 70 degrees will roast you like the mid 90s at sea level. The days will start cool and warm up quickly. Winds will pickup later afternoon and if monsoon rains hit they will push in along w the afternoon winds.

Nights can be breezy and cold.
