I lived in Germany for 3 years, which afforded the opportunity to visit over a dozen European countries, and think I would most enjoy having those travel opportunities again. I would live in Italy in a heartbeat, even though I don't speak the language. I am a fan of the "old country" feeling, with so many historical structures, sites, and art. The people are warm and welcoming, food & drink are wonderful. The Netherlands would be a close second. And I always look twice when those stories come up about an opportunity to be the caretaker on a remote Scottish island.
