A couple of years ago we went to Cinnamon Shore and really liked it. We're planning to head to the beach again this year with 3 small kids in tow. I've heard of a couple other communities on the Texas coast (Palmilla near Port A and Beach Town on Galveston) that are nice with easy beach access. Are there others that have a similar set up?

The main things we loved about Cinnamon Shore were having easy golf cart access to the beach, a couple of community pools, a few places to grab food right there in the community, and of course a nice newish rental. We grew accustomed to 30A in our years before kids, but just aren't up for the drive with all the little kids right now. We might just plan a trip to Cinnamon Shore again, but I'm curious what else is out there. Thanks!

Vrbo houses in Port A with private pools are awesome. Easy golf cart to the beach and to stores/restaurants. Highly recommend. Our Grandkids are too young for most of the activities at Cinnamon shores and Pamilla beach. Wasted money on the late night movies and s'mores… learned vrbo is way more economical. Still not cheap but….
