the wife and I are celebrating 20 years next Summer and have a window while the kids are at Summer Camp - June 7-18.

We have hiked Half Dome, loved Banff area, Teton's, Glacier NP Montana, and Utah - but this time no kids and I want the added idea of a guided hike (I don't have any equipment so need to have that included).

I found this cool company that does what we are looking for I think - https://www.wildlandtrekking.com/ just have to figure out if they are the ones and where to go.

Love unique features, multiple terrains, the idea of camping along a river after a day of hiking, sitting out by a campfire under the stars, etc. Don't like too cold/snowy which is a problem because our original idea was Jasper, AB but they said to come in July/Aug - June 8 is snowy and can't make it.

Appreciate the ideas!

Grand Canyon rafting would be fun.

We did Havasu Falls for Thanksgiving 2018 with Wildland Trekking. It was a fantastic trip, and I would not hesitate to book with them again.

I can't say enough good things about Havasu Falls, and it sounds like exactly the trip you are looking for. I'll post some links to pics from our trip. One thing to note, though, Wildland no longer uses the donkeys to transport your stuff and all the camping gear. So, people on this trek have to carry not only their belongings, but a share of all the camping gear that Wildland provides. It's a 10 mile hike in to the Havasupai village and 10 miles back out. I'm not sure I would have done it if I'd had to carry all that gear.

In fact, I thought about doing their Utah inn-to-inn trek over the holidays, but I gambled on Banff instead, and lost.

The other family we did Havasu Falls with is doing the Hermit Trail Loop with Wildland right now.

Hikesgiving 2018 - June might be a bit hot for this trek (assuming the Havasupai are even allowing people in), though. We spent three nights camping at the village, and we hiked anywhere from 5-7 miles the two days we were there (this is in addition to the 10 miles in and 10 miles out).
