Has anyone ever used UBSki to book a ski trip? Looking at making spring break ski plans and their prices seem to good to be true. Read a few poor reviews on Yelp but wanted to post here to see if anyone has dealt with them. Cross posted on Student Section.

Should probably provide some more information. Buddies and I (around 10) are hoping to ski Breckendridge for Spring Break and are trying to find a reputable group booking service. If not UBSki, does anyone have any other recommendations?

I haven't ever done UBSki. But back in college (2012-2016ish) we did a ski trip to Breck every year with a bunch of Aggies. We never did UBSki but we always planned it the same week as the UBSki's trip because it is a fun week to be in Breck (the resort is like 75% college students that week).

We actually usually found that going as a large group and not going through UBSki was pretty comparable price wise. If you have at least 20 people you can get group discounted lift tickets (and group rate ski rentals) through the resort. Then we would all just rent a big house. Staying in one single house was always more fun than being spread out in a bunch of different condos.

I do know a lot of people who have done UBSki and I don't really remember too many complaints. But other than that I don't have too much insight.

Thank you, super helpful!

Right now, with a group of just about 10, we don't qualify for Breck's group rates, so UBSki is looking way cheaper. But that is good to hear about UBSki, read a few negative complaints online but didn't know how much stock to but into them.

I think it's hard to get in anytime if nobody in your group went the previous year and put their name on the list. I guess you could go and find your own lodging but I'm not even sure if that includes the lift tickets.

Can't beat the price once you're in though; $700 or so for lodging, lift tickets and all the concerts.

We used UBski several times for spring break in college ~10 years ago. Was always a good deal as long as you know exactly what the accommodations are.

My buddy who has a timeshare at one of the nicer places in Breck still uses them for lift tickets as recently as last year.

I am pretty sure I remember their customer service being pretty good as well.

Check lifestylez.com

Those folks will teach an Aggie how to party.

When my parents owned a house in Breck we would encourage friends to get their lift tickets through UBSki. Always super easy to work with if you made sure to get it done a few weeks in advance.
