Sitting in Jackson right now. Like the rest of the west they were hit by the warm spell in Jan but it has begun snowing again. Skiing has been good not great. 7" last night (5") at the time of reporting. It will keep snowing on and off all day. A couple thin spots on the mountain but better than any place in the west except maybe Telluride. Apparently they were killing it last week.

It starts getting a little chunky about halfway down. A couple bare spots near trees on south facing aspects but the skiing fine. Stll powder to be had on North. Last run of the day skied tram to meet your maker to aint Brush and out Dick's Ditch. Was getting a mixture powder and hardpack at 4pm.

I'm going to tag onto to this thread. Will probably be looking at spending 1 night and flying out of Jackson Hole in August. Any recommendations or must do things while we're there?

So, 24 hours? You can spend a lifetime in Jackson. What do you like to do?

If you want to stay in town just go all in at the Wort hotel just off of main street. If you are in the National Park go for Jenny Lake Lodge or Signal mountain. Whatever you do get your reservations now if you can.
