I've been wanting to visit Normandy and my great uncle's gravesite in St. Avold for many years, but saving money has been an issue. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to visit these sites without breaking the bank? I would really appreciate any help!

I'm actually going to France on Thursday to do this exact thing. We're flying from Houston to Paris on AirFrance. Going to Normandy and St. Avold. My great uncle was killed 70 years ago and is buried at Lorrainne Cemetery.

Not exactly what you asked, but I used this tour guide in 2013 and it was worth every penny! The guy and the tour was excellent!
