Buddy from France is coming to visit. He is staying a while so curious the risks I take lending him my car during the day. I have the required liability. No idea what he has or if it even matters.

Anyone have any insight on this? More interested in:
A) he is at fault and is injured
B) he is at fault, not injured but damaged my vehicle + other's
C) not at fault and injured plus damage to my vehicle

If he is legal to drive here, I'm guessing he'll be fine. But, do that^^

You probably need to contact your insurance and see if you can add him to your policy temporarily. I wouldn't think his insurance would cover your car in the USA. Suppose he's involved in an accident...what happens? He gives the driver of the other car a French Insurance companies contact info? Pretty sure it needs to be done from here.
