Getting married this November but will be January before we will be able to go on a honeymoon. Just wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations for where we could go?

Have been thinking of going on a 7 day cruise but wanted to explore other options as well. Would be great if we could find a resort that is all inclusive but willing to check out any place. If you know of any please let me know.

Budget?

What general area?

Would like it keep our budget between 3 and 5 thousand.

Open to any area but a more tropical or coastal place would be great.

Writing this from Coco Plum Resort in Belize. It's a 16-acre island off the coast, accessible only by boat, with probably no more than 12 other guests on the island with you and yours. Paradise. The owners are from Austin, I believe. The food is great, as is the scenery, and the activities. The all-inclusive is all I need. The nightlife is pretty non-existent (limited guests, remember?), but I could care less. Love the isolation. Look it up on Trip Advisor. It's in your budget.

We did iberostar grand bavaro in punta cana and it was great.

Heard great things about st lucia.

On my honeymoon right now in Punta Cana, DR.

We did 3 nights at the Zoetry Agua, and 4 nights at Iberostar Grand on Bavaro Beach. Today is our first full day at Iberostar

Zoetry is small, quiet, and peaceful. I believe only 50 rooms. Very nice spa. No nightlife.

Iberostar Grand has 274 rooms. If you stay at the Grand, you also have access to the other Iberostar hotels on the estate (hotel staff take you by golf cart), but the other guests don't have access ton the Grand. It's very nice here. Incredible beach and pool.

Splitting our trip up was a great decision. We are getting the best of both worlds.

We had a hard time deciding between Excellence & Iberostar. We are very, very glad we chose IB.
