I am planning a trip to Southern Cal for me and my 8 year old son for Spring Break.

I am weighing all the options, and wanted to get some opinions on Legoland. Is this a place we should definitely include? (My son loves Legos, but I have also heard that Legoland is more for younger kids.)

Any advice?

We went to the Legoland in Germany last summer. My seven year old son had a blast! Be sure to check the hours . . . I was considering a trip to SoCal for Legoland in early March but it is only opened certain days. If he enjoys legos then I think he will have fun . . . there were rides to fit all ages and I too had a good time.

It's been almost 9 years since I went with my then 3 & 6 year olds. They absolutely loved it. My wife liked it too.

I'm a Lego guy from the 1970s so I totally loved it.

They had plenty of activities for young kids. The consensus was that we all enjoyed it even more than Disneyland (where we went two days later).

We went there when my son was 7 and he absoultely loved it.
