When i have visitors in vegas, i take them to battista's. There is better/more expensive ital in vegas, but no better ital dining experience than battista's. Period.

Had Casa Di Amore a couple of years ago. Loved it. May go back there again on next trip, but I almost feel ridiculous going back to old standbys in Vegas.

Just had Piero's, it was very good. There is a Carmine's opening in Caesars next year.

Another good place is Bootlegger's Bistro, south on the strip past all the casinos. It is similar to Piero's.

I liked Carmine's the one time I ate their in NY. Look forward to trying it in LV.
