wikipedia says he is at indianapolis, the triple-A affiliate for the pirates. Guy had a .260, 11 home run season with us, but never matched that again in his career.
another year like that and he would be that all-star of our team
I live in Indianapolis and saw him play a couple times last season for the minor league team here.

damn Billy Spiers was one clutch bat coming off the bench, I seriously can't remember when he came off the bench and didn't get a big time hit.
Spiers was the man. That guy was fun to watch.
When he was in Houston, Carl Everett was money in the clutch. I loved watching him tee off on those low inside pitches.
