I'm so frustrated now. They have zero offense. The pitching staff, as bad as it was projected to be, has been terrific. Even without Jennings.

Berkman can't seem to buy hits. Lee gets on, but no one can hit him in. It's time to bat Lance 4th and Lee 3rd. It's also time to get Biggio out of the leadoff spot. A .230 leadoff hitter is not acceptable. He should be batting 6th or 7th. Try Pence at leadoff for lack of anyone better. Ensberg and Lane should not EVER see the field. Both has have been given more than adequate time to pull their heads out of their asses, but I guess they like it there. Lamb and Loretta should be starting.

Biggio just ain't cutting it as a leadoff man anymore. But Palmeiro, Lane and Ensberg have go to go. They are hurting the team.

Berkman is comfortable in the 3 hole and his OBP is still .412 despite hitting just .265. He is 2nd on the team in hits and HR. He's not hitting very many doubles but has walked 39 times. I wish he could drive in some more runs but if he gets on for Lee behind him its a good scenario. The biggest problems are nobody is on when Berkman comes up, he draws a walk, Lee or Pence get a hit, but then we hit the black hole at the end of the lineup that produces nothing. Then back up to the top and they do nothing and we've gone full circle with Berks and Lee coming back up. The only way we're scoring runs these days is if we get back to back extra base hits, and that doesn't happen very often.

pence is an RBI machine. Batting him leadoff kills everything he does.

Can we please start thirty more threads about everyones lineup that they think would work. So far, the ones that have actually been used in a game have failed miserably.

Actually, move Pence to RF where he played in the minors and bring up Josh Anderson to play CF and leadoff.

Yeah, I'd much rather see Pence in the 2 hole or where he's at now than leadoff.

Berkman should be leading off until his power comes back.

Anderson is playing RF in Round Rock.
