Actually, they'll start Ohtani so they don't lose the DH when he enters. Follow with Glasnow. My guess is Ohtani's is a fairly short outing while they lean more into Glasnow.

I'll defend Barger a bit -- after the first out was recorded, you have to be ready to score on a hit in that situation and it looked like a hit off the bat.

Wasn't a good read by him, but I think we all thought bloop base hit when that ball was struck.

It's a reminder how instincts and emotions can sometimes take over. He broke HARD for a couple of steps because he was about to tie up game 6 of the world series. Then his brain turned on and he realized he was effed.

I'll bet that the emotions of him almost hitting an inside the park homer a few moments earlier were still pumping through his veins and clouded his judgement a bit.

Bad read and unfortunate because I'd have bet on Springer rising to the occasion there to win it
