Maybe I'm wrong but the big hurdle for Correa trade was getting Crane on board given what it would mean as far as exceeding the CBT threshold and additional cost for this season and next

Otherwise it's just negotiating how much of Correa's contract the Twins would have to eat. They're clearly interested.

Unlike Arenado in the offseason Correa is on board and wields power that favors a deal getting done with his no trade clause/veto
