Yep, same here. Also a lot of the home runs We hit in the postseason at home were pretty much middle middle fastballs or hanging breakers… A lot of guys would've hit home runs on those pitches.

"Everyone else was doing it" is a pretty weak way to excuse what was going on… it was wrong regardless of what else was going on in the league….That being said, the joy I felt winning the WS in 2017 was pretty strong, and looking back, it was a really fun time after a pretty hard time for the city. The scandal just kind of is what it is. It doesn't really change how I feel about it.

I'm really glad we got 2022 in the bag though. That felt less joyful and more vindicated.
