I think they saw how last year went for them - they started the season, and performed halfway through the season, pretty darn well - and are building on that.

Couple that with the division appearing fairly weak and it's pretty clear to me they think they can win without spending an arm and a leg.

I agree that Parades could be an offensive weapon for us. Hopefully he won't hit as many pop up's and/or double plays to kill rallies like Bregman did last season. And hope he's faster than Breggy.
Don't get me wrong - I loved Breggy and his contributions to the Astros success the last several years but he was extremely frustrating to watch at the plate in 2024.

Too many Astros fans think his second half 2023 + ALCS blowups are who he is. That's all they see

He's always going to be an Astros legend for his 2022 season. Hopefully he's that level this year or just what he was for most of last year

I've been watching postseason highlights from 2015(!)-2023. I want one more. **** it. Let's bring this ***** home this year. Any means necessary.

The absolute insane part of this run is that it started when my son was playing 8U and now he's going through high school try outs.
