Last year awful especially down the stretch which extended into the postseason but since they got past the deplorable start to the season, they've actually been pretty damn good.

Wish Kikuchi was on the mound tomorrow.

Feeling good about Hunter starting tomorrow. He's earned this and hopefully pitches well. This offense has to produce, bottom line, and just getting runners on base isn't enough.

Hunter is the guy for tomorrow. I feel great about it

Even though we lost, I don't hate our position. I think the postseason experience shows up tomorrow with this team. And we don't have to see their ace again. Their pen doesn't scare me. If I was a Tigers fan, Foley would make me very, very nervous.

Nah. We've seen much worse meltdown from Framber. He just wasn't too good today. Made us spend Blanco which kinda sucks. Tip of the cap to Skubal. Glad to not see him again...

Unfortunately he can't hit also and many of his starts to end the year have shown us how far that goes.

Silver lining is Yordan hit well today. Can't run for sheet, but he can jog around the bases tomorrow.

I got to watch the 9th. That was an unfortunate way to end the game, but you probably should get more hits in the other 8 innings.

I get it, today sucked. Let's put it in perspective though. This was the game they had to win with their ace.
We are playing the hottest team in baseball and they beat us 3-1...not 8-1 and a good single in the 9th totally changes this game.
I think the pressure is on them now, they are not used to being in this situation, where we know how to navigate it better based on experience.
If we come out tomorrow and put the pressure on them, it sets up nicely for Game 3. We've proven in the past we can win the big game on the road (@ Minnesota, Seattle, Cleveland, Boston etc...) in the past. We didn't play our best today, but I certainly don't think the players are worried.
