I'm gonna blame for that the guys that routinely make outs in the first two pitches regardless of game situation and utterly fail to get a ball in the air when a runner is on third.

This is the bottom line. With a back third-to-half of the order that is so generally bad and makes outs as quickly as they do, the big bats can't no show like they always do in unison.

The loss yesterday pisses me off more, that was a win you had in hand and then that would've set you up to need one win out of your remaining six games, the last 3 against a presumably disinterested Cleveland club.

I agree with this. Mariners have to play desperately, which would've meant Munoz in a close game while we let our guys rest after the wild one Sunday. Offense basically didn't allow for any game script by letting Miller go seven and not touching up Taylor.
