Agree on the players, but I do think an owner, GM or manager might make the call to pull a starting pitcher way too early in the game

Exactly...the only ones somewhat losing on purpose are the ones angling for a better draft pick. However, if you had your eye on the #1 pick, I'm sorry but the White Sox wrapped that up months ago.

The rangerettes have deGrom and ass hole Max going the next two nights and I wouldn't be suprised if they win those two. I thought they'd lose last night, which is why I predicted a split in that series.

Looking at the remaining games on the schedule we could go 8-8 and finish 86-76, which means Seattle would have to go 13-2 to surpass us.
Strips control their own destiny and the division is theirs if they just play .500 ball the rest of the way. The good news is that 7 of the remaining 16 games are against the Angels - tougher games will be 3 at SD, 3 at Cleveland and 3 with the Seamen who hopefully will be ready to just finish out their season by the time we play them.
I've never rooted for the Arlington Rangers before until this weekend.

Agree - just get into the playoffs. Teams that have excellent pitching depth usually survive.

Agreed. At some point having to play 3 games in 3 days in the WC and setting up to win quickly to reset for the DS is important. Unless we are 1 back of Cleveland at the start of that series, just get ready for the big prize.

Also keep in mind that the WC games are all at home for the higher seed. Whoever we play it's all at MMP.
