I think it is his most likely playoff role the way things stand right now. He is in uncharted territory with IP, and has shown signs of fatigue. If Blanco can bridge a playoff game from 5th to 7th a couple of times, that would be huge

Aside from the fact that it's the dodgers (and **** Fat Tommy, **** that lying cheating sanctimonious sack of **** Steve Garvey), they and Joe Kelly are probably as responsible for this BS booing of Altuve around the league as anyone. Every time they get interviewed they whine and cry.

Taking five straight from the Royals and Phillies (mainly Royals), and being swept by the Reds, it seems almost apropos that we've taken the next two against Arizona.

Kind of random but amusingly on point stat - before today the Astros have 3 of the top 6 singles hitters in MLB (Altuve, Peña, and Diaz).
