Best seats I've ever had to a game and I could see Greinke's pitches perfectly. As I recall, Rendon hit a Crawford box pop-up HR and Soto walked. Zack had a very low pitch count and was doing great. I really couldn't believe he pulled him.

Yeah it reminded me of the next year's WS where the rays pulled Snell early and then immediately blew the lead in game 6 to lose the series.

Eschenfelder is so bad at this. You can tell he didn't realize how important it was until Meyers was already at home. As soon as the ball hit off the wall, the game was over. Two outs with speedy meyers running on contact, there's zero chance he doesn't score. Kalas would have been going nuts 10 seconds earlier

Also they should make fans that interfere or almost interfere show up for media availability and answer questions. How stupid do you have to be to literally reach over the wall and try to catch that ball

My Aggie neighbor is hosting a watch party and when he was at A&M he worked at DoubleDave's so he's making pepperoni rolls BUT he also grew up in Kansas City and is a huge Royals fan so it should be interesting tonight.

Also a Notre Dame grad will be there who is a huge obnoxious Ranger fan (do they come any other way) so hopefully no fights break out tonight.

I watched Chili break his bat over his knee after Nolan Ryan struck him late in the game near the end of Nolan's time with the Astros. I think it was his 3rd or 4th strikeout in a game where Nolan had something like 17 SOs in the game.
